bio
I am a registered architect in the UK (ARB) and in Greece (TCG), a PhD by design-led researcher as well as an architectural editor and writer.
My “architecture origins” lie in the UK, where I obtained my Bachelor from Oxford Brookes University and my Master from the University of Edinburgh. After graduating, I worked at an architectural firm in Athens, becoming involved in projects for some of the biggest retail brands in Greece and Cyprus. In 2022, I decided to chase down a different route and started a design-led PhD in Architecture titled ‘Composing Dialogues: Tu(r)ning Plato’s myth of Atlantis towards contemporary Athens’ at the University of Edinburgh. My research constructs a series of dialogues that narrate, investigate, critique and reconfigure Athenian mythical, real and ideal image-copies in response to the city’s current setting and urgencies.
Alongside with the PhD, I am also exploring alternative ways of practicing architecture. I am currently a contributing writer for Architizer, an architectural magazine in New York as well as an editor at ek Magazine in Athens, Greece. I am also a guest reviewer at the University of Edinburgh, an editor for the Edinburgh Research Architecture Journal and finally, I write for a variety of architectural newsletters, from photography to design software. My design-research interests are informed by:
(a) the intersection of architectural design with mythology and fiction, reflecting on critical understandings of past narratives as forces that shape the cultural, social, visual and urban fabric of cities,
(b) the relationship between immaterial cultural heritage and the image of the city, drawing upon philosophical and political theorisations of the model, the copy and the simulacrum.
i also have blog...
Logs of an (iL)literate Architect
This blog is a passion project of mine, where I record and share my experiences and ambition of doing a PhD! This series of Logs lose all of the academic and architectural jargon in an attempt to tell a story in the most (iL)literate way possible - pun intended.

What has always been consistent throughout my architecture years is my love for templates. Whether it is a set of CAD blocks, a Notion template, or InDesign layouts, templates have always been my faithful companion. So, I have made it my mission to create a few selectively curated template packs that cater to the desires of architects everywhere.
