bio

I am an architect, PhD design-led researcher and architectural writer.

My ‘architecture origins’ lie in the UK, where I obtained my Bachelor from Oxford Brookes University and my Master from the University of Edinburgh. After graduating, I worked at an architectural firm in Athens, becoming involved in projects for some of the biggest retail brands in Greece and Cyprus.

In 2022, I decided to chase down a different route and started a design-led PhD in Architecture titled “Composing Dialogues: Tu(r)ning Plato’s myth of Atlantis towards contemporary Athens” at the University of Edinburgh. Sharing Plato’s curiosity on the ideal city, my research investigates, critiques and redesigns modern Athens, through Plato’s myth of Atlantis.

Alongside with the PhD, I am also exploring alternative ways of practicing architecture. I am currently a contributing writer for Architizer, an architectural magazine in New York as well as an editor at EK Magazine in Athens, Greece. Finally, I am a freelancing writer for a variety of architectural newsletters, from photography to design software, a guest reviewer at the University of Edinburgh and an editor for the Edinburgh Research Architecture Journal.
